General Superintendent
Position Overview:
The General Superintendent is responsible for overseeing project superintendents and ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves managing workforce resources, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and risk management policies. The General Superintendent reports directly to the Director of Operations and collaborates closely to support the successful delivery of all projects. The Safety/Risk Manager reports directly to the General Superintendent for day-to-day duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and provide guidance to project superintendents, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects, ensuring timely completion within established deadlines and budgets.
  • Oversee safety and risk management protocols, promoting a culture of safety and compliance throughout all job sites.
  • Directs and works closely with the Safety/Risk Manager to manage and maintain company equipment, vehicles, and trailers, ensuring proper use, maintenance, and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate manpower, including laborers and carpenters, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet project demands.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to address project challenges, implement solutions, and support operational goals.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress, enforce safety standards, and address any issues or

    Work Environment:
    This role requires frequent travel to construction sites, working in outdoor environments with varied weather conditions. The General Superintendent must be able to navigate construction sites, including climbing, walking on uneven terrain, and standing for extended periods.

  • Project Manager
    Position Overview:
    The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The role involves managing a team of professionals, including superintendents, subcontractors, and field employees, while also ensuring clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. This position requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and strong project management skills, focusing on both the day-to-day operations and strategic oversight of projects.

    Physical Requirements:
  • 50-hour work week, with 10 hours per day
  • 6-8 hours per day at a desk; 4-6 hours per day using a computer
  • Weekly travel to jobsites
  • Occasional travel for continuing education

    Qualifications:

    Education & Experience:
  • A degree in Construction Management or related field or 5+ years of experience in the construction industry (with 5+ years in a supervisory position), or 10+ years of industry experience with a focus on leadership and project management.
  • Strong experience with quantity takeoff, project estimation, and construction scheduling.

    Certifications:
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 30-hour OSHA Training Course or equivalent

    Skills & Knowledge:
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (including Procore, Sage, and other construction management tools).

    Schedule & Budget Management:

    Client & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong professional relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

    Project Documentation & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including change orders, purchase orders, RFI’s, and submittals.

  • Oversee project closeout procedures, including final inspections, punch lists, and delivery of operation manuals and as-built drawings.

    Safety & Quality Control:

  • Monitor quality control on all aspects of the project, ensuring all work meets specified standards and contractual requirements.

    Performance Evaluation & Reporting:
  • Regularly evaluate project performance, including budget adherence, quality of work, and team productivity.
  • Provide bi-weekly project updates and progress reports as required
  • Prepare monthly project billings and ensure timely payments by the owner.

  • Internal: Works closely with superintendents, estimating teams, HR, and senior management.

    Reports to:

    Position Overview:
    The Project Administrator supports project managers with project needs, estimators with estimating needs when office administrator needs assistance and senior office staff by assisting with a variety of administrative and operational tasks.

    Position Overview:
    The Office Administrator’s primary function is to properly portray our professional image either by phone or in person with our clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers. This position is important to our company and the fulfillment of duties and responsibilities contributes to the overall success of our company. The office administrator derives authority from the estimators for procurement needs prior to project bid day. During bid day the office administrator works closely with project administrators to fulfill all procurement needs. Office Administrators report directly to upper management for roles outside of procurement and are responsible for ordering office supplies, shirt orders for employees at their location, new paperwork not completed online through ADP, company website, Facebook, and any other online marketing or company accounts as required. Is responsible for all aspects of bi-annual company shirt orders. Is responsible for updating vendor and subcontractor liability insurance requirements.

They work under the direction of Project Superintendent and are expected to carry out their duties efficiently, safely, and with attention to detail.

    Physical Requirements:
  • 40-hour work week, with 8 hours per day of manual labor
  • Daily travel to and from job sites
  • Ability to lift, carry, and manipulate materials
  • Work on feet for extended periods

    Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in carpentry
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites

  • Monitor concrete pours to ensure correct placement of anchor bolts and building lines
