Rachel Betts began her career in finance during high school, working as a bookkeeping assistant and assisting with tax preparation at a local CPA firm. Graduating a year early from DeRidder High School in 1999, she went on to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting in December 2003.

While working for a local non-profit organization, she continued her education and obtained a master of business administration in May 2005. After a brief stint in public accounting, she quickly realized her passion for private accounting and transitioned to a role as a controller for a transportation company in Baton Rouge.

Rachel joined Pat Williams Construction in February 2011 and has since played a vital role in the company’s financial operations. She is passionate about her work, enjoys collaborating with her peers, and continues to expand her knowledge of the construction industry.
