During high school, I spent my after school hours working as a bookkeeping assistant and tax seasons helping prepare tax returns for a local CPA’s office. After graduating one year early from DeRidder High School in 1999, I attended college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, from which I received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in December of 2003.
While working for a local non-profit organization, I continued my studies and received my Masters of Business Administration in May of 2005. I worked for a public accounting firm for one month, quickly decided that I missed private accounting and moved to Baton Rouge to work for a transportation company, where I started my career as a Controller.
I have been with Pat Williams Construction since February of 2011 and I love my position with this company, working with my peers and learning this industry.
