The Central Plaza Development project involves demolition of the concrete and landscaping on the university quad. New concrete walkways are to be added and all areas are to receive paving. The Amerisafe, Inc. project consist of new construction and renovation work. The renovated building will consist of a new office wing which will hold 15,000 square foot of offices, conference areas, work stations, break areas, restrooms and service areas. Construction of the building shall be structural steel with steel trusses, concrete foundations, standing seam metal roofing, rigid roof insulation, face brick, suspended acoustical ceilings, a chilled water HVAC system, and various power, data, and exterior improvements. The new building will be a 3,000 square foot warehouse building that is to be insulated and conditioned and will consist of a standing seam metal roof, metal siding, and a truck loading dock.
