The Central Plaza Development project involves demolition of the concrete and landscaping on the university quad. New concrete walkways are to be added and all areas are to receive paving. This project also includes a new monument, a university seal, several exterior benches and various new landscape improvements.

The Amerisafe, Inc. project consist of new construction and renovation work. The renovated building will consist of a new office wing which will hold 15,000 square foot of offices, conference areas, work stations, break areas, restrooms and service areas. Construction of the building shall be structural steel with steel trusses, concrete foundations, standing seam metal roofing, rigid roof insulation, face brick, suspended acoustical ceilings, a chilled water HVAC system, and various power, data, and exterior improvements. The new building will be a 3,000 square foot warehouse building that is to be insulated and conditioned and will consist of a standing seam metal roof, metal siding, and a truck loading dock.


Ward One Community Park-Phase I-Baseball and Softball Complexes

The Ward One Community Park-Phase I-Baseball and Softball Complexes project is to include the construction of a new baseball and softball field. This project will also include the construction of new recreational activities such as a basketball court and a playground area. In addition, a new restroom/concession building is to be constructed mid way between the baseball and the softball fields.


Lake Charles Housing Authority

The Lake Charles Housing Authority project is to consist of interior and mechanical renovations to 178 housing units at Carver Courts and Clark Courts. The interior renovations include, but are not limited to, painting, new A/C closets, the removal of existing wall units and the replacement of A/C units.

The Singer High School project includes the construction of a new gymnasium with new covered walkways, a new courtyard and a new 4 pod classroom addition.

Additions & Renovations to Anacoco School

The Additions & Renovations to Anacoco School is to include the construction of a new six classroom pod to include restrooms and a work room in the elementary and an addition to house three classrooms, a new library, a choral room and a teacher’s lounge in the high school. Other construction includes the erection of a new covered walkway, the renovation to the old existing library and renovations to the elementary office and grades 1-4 classrooms.
